A bedside table is bought for one reason and chosen by one measurement. The reason is a drawer for the things you reach for at night; the measurement is height: the table top should be within two inches of the top of your mattress, usually 22 to 26 inches from the floor for a bed with a mattress. Too low and you reach down in the dark; too high and the lamp is in your eyes.

What to look for
Height matched to the mattress top (measure yours: floor to the top of the mattress). The listing states the table height; the FD Score’s listing-detail ring rewards the ones that do.
Top at least 14 × 14 inches: a lamp, a phone, a glass and a book.
A drawer, not an open shelf, for anything you do not want seen. Two drawers if there is no chest of drawers in the room.
Width under 20 inches for a queen bed in a 10-foot room, or it crowds the path.
The same finish as the bed: walnut with walnut, honey with honey. The finish names are consistent within a maker and not between makers.
One or two?
Two for a couple, obviously; but in a 10 × 10 room a queen bed and two bedside tables leave 18 inches on each side, which is below the 24 you want. Then one bedside table on the open side and a wall shelf on the other is the better arrangement.
