Furniture Deals runs furnituredeals.in, a site that compares solid wood furniture sold on Amazon India. We do not sell furniture, take payments or ship anything. This page says what we do with information about you, in plain words. Furniture Deals is based at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
What we collect
Your email address, only if you give it
If you fill in the sign-up box, we keep your email address and the date, so we can write to you when something we score well drops in price. We do not ask for your name, your phone number or anything else. We do not sell or share the list, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
You can leave at any time. Use the contact page and we will answer.
What you ask for
When you type a request into the search box, that text reaches our server so we can answer it. It is used to find the furniture and is not tied to you.
What your browser keeps, not us
Your shortlist and the pieces you tick to compare are stored by your own browser, on your own device. They never reach us, they are not an account, and clearing your browser data removes them.
The ordinary records a website keeps
Our hosting keeps the usual server records of visits, including IP addresses, for security and to fix faults. If you leave a comment on a guide, WordPress stores what you wrote along with the name and email you typed.
The FurnitureDeals app
Our Android app shows the same furniture, prices, ratings and scores as furnituredeals.in, read live from this site. It has no account and no sign-up. Your shortlist, the pieces you tick to compare and your recent searches are kept on your phone only, and deleting the app removes them. A request you type into its search reaches our server to be answered, exactly as on the site, and is not tied to you.
The app collects no personal information, uses no advertising identifiers and carries no analytics or tracking of its own. When you press "See it on Amazon" the app opens the product in the Amazon app or your browser, with the same Associate link as the site, and from then on Amazon's policy applies. The ordinary server records described above apply to the app's requests as well.
Amazon, and how we are paid
We are an Amazon Associate. When you press a buy button you go to Amazon.in, and if you buy something there we may earn a commission. The price you pay is exactly the same either way.
Once you are on Amazon you are on their website, under their privacy policy, not ours. Your order, your payment, your delivery and your personal details there belong to Amazon and the seller. We never see them. Amazon knows the visit came from us, which is how the commission is counted.
Prices, star ratings and product details shown here are read from Amazon and can be out of date. The price on Amazon when you buy is the one that applies.
Cookies and measurement
This theme sets no advertising cookies and does no tracking of its own. WordPress itself sets a cookie if you log in or leave a comment. Amazon and any analytics or security tools the site uses may set their own; those are described in their own policies.
How long we keep things
Email addresses are kept until you ask us to remove yours. Server records are kept for as long as the hosting keeps them, usually a few weeks. Comments stay until they are deleted.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. The honest answer is usually that we hold nothing but an email address, and removing it takes a moment.

Children
This site is meant for adults buying furniture. We do not knowingly collect anything from children.
Changes
If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date below is updated.
